I came across these Marriages in Ireland when researching my own family. I hope this is useful to someone out there:

May 9th 1870 Thomas KELLY 21 yrs a carpenter his father was Pat KELLY who was also a carpenter. Thomas was born in STRADONE CO. CAVAN.
Married Mary SMITH 20yrs a spinster and Farmers daughter born Listugan/Sistugan? Father Pat SMITH Farmer
The marriage was registered in Ballyhaise, Co CAVAN.

October 12th 1874 Thomas KELLY of full age a WIDOWER and a carpenter his father was Pat KELLY also a carpenter. Thomas was born in Stradone, CO.CAVAN.
Married Mary McCABE of full age a spinster born Drumnor**?
Her father was Terence? McCABE a farmer.
The marriage was registered in LARAH, COOTEHILL, CO CAVAN.

It's obviously the same Thomas Kelly in both cases and I believe him to be my Gt Gt Grandfather. I also have the 1901 Census showing the family.
I do have copies of all this so if you would like a copy then please answer this post and let me have your e mail address so that I can send it to you. I hope that this is of help to someone out there and also hope that I may find some relatives too.
Happy hunting
Barbara
