John Kelly (Galway, Ireland to New York) 1920

I am looking for any information anyone might have on my granduncle John Kelly from Tuam in County Galway, Ireland who emigrated to New York in 1922, aged 20/25yrs. I believe he may have worked with the NY fire department, possibly on a part-time basis. At one stage he was owner/manager of an Irish pub on Flatbush Avenue (possibly no.22), Brooklyn, which was called The Sheebeen. This pub is no longer there. He may have died in the late 1960's.

He had 3 daughters, one named Margaret Mary Kelly (or possibly Mary Margaret) who I believe is a lawyer and was born in the 20's/30's. Another daughter married a Schneider and might live in Queens/Long Island.

If anyone has any information, no matter how small, I would be so grateful!
Thank you,
Ellie Kelly
