William Kelly & Walter Kelly are both listed in the book "Historic Canden" SC, arriving from Ireland with a Quaker Group in 1751. At that time it was Craven County SC, later renamed Kershaw County.
Abt. 1759 Walter Kelly & family moved to western VA, later WV and in 1773 Walter Kelly was killed by Indians & about a month later his brother William Kelly was also killed by Indians, both killed near modern day Ceder Grove, WV.
At least some of the Kelly families returned to Kershaw County SC after death of Walter & William.
I descend from Walter Kelly's line & hope to contact descendants of Walter Kelly or his brother William Kelly.
