those reports on the children were from the IGi and they were county records recorded in Burlington Co.
You might be able to write the Burlington County Library or the New Jersey Archves and get a copy of the Orphan's Court records to see if it might be your Daniel. You can also write for a copy of his death certificate which may list his parents, and their place of birth...possibly even the county in Ireland if the informant knew that information. the NJ Archives site is onlnie at:

now this isnt the home page exactly but it does have the newspaper databases for Burlington County old news articles
that you can search by surname...you may recognize some of his children by whats written in the articles
