Interesting. This picture may or may not apply, but my late husband was a direct descendant in the Michigan Kellogg family, with an Erastus K.(2x gr. grandfather)who died in Saline, MI on Oct. 10, 1866. Your picture no doubt shows a grandson of his; he had a substantial family, and very likely some of them moved on west into Wisconsin.
May I suggest that you wait as long as you care to for a proved descendant, then rather than discarding it, send it to me. My husband and I were 8th cousins thru the Kelloggs, and right now I am supplying information to a very good friend's son, also a Kellogg. He wants to develop his family's genealogy.
