I am researching the family of Eugene and Elsie (Darling) Doxstader. In the 1900 New York Census for Danube, Herkimer County, Eugene and Elsie had an adoptive son named "Grant". I am interested in any information regarding Grant's biological family. Stories passed on from generation to generation indicated that Grant Doxstader's biological name was "Schuyler".
