no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Thought we had resolved this in previous messages. On the 1880 census of Pocahontas Co., your Edgar David Stofer Kellison is listed as the son of John M. Kellison and Sarah J. Dean who were married in Lewis Co., W.Va. on 25Aug1867. The family was living in the Little Levels District of Pocahontas in 1880. Children listed were Minnie C., age 9, Stofer age 7, Susan E. age 4, and Claiborne H. age 1.
As stated previously, your great grandfather was probably named after a D. A. Stofer a local attorney and who during the Civil War was Captain of the locally raised unit, "Company I, 25th Reg, Virginia Infantry, Confederate Army.
Having said that, Am very much interested in the information you have regarding our decendency back to Hedrick Kellison. Would find myself most appreciative for your sharing that data with the rest of us. Thanks!
