My father was William Albert Kelling, son of William Thomas Kelling of Davenport, IA. My grandfather's marriage to my grandmother, Helen Reagan, was a ten year, May-December affair that produced only my dad. My grandfather had a sister named Amelia who lived in Kansas City, MO. I don't know if this is the same Kelling family that Mike Emry descends from but the list of siblings in his message of February 20, 1999 contains the brothers William and Albert. I can only add that my graandfather, William Thomas Kelling served 30 years in the army and was mustered out of the Army Air Corps at Jefferson Barracks, MO, in 1933. He lived most of the rest of his life, folowing his discharge and divorce from my grandmother, in San Diego, CA. He died in El Paso, Tx, in about 1962. I will watch this site for any postings relevant to this. I would love to know my great-grandfather Kelling's name. Maybe it was Hans. Can you shed any light or verify connection?
Regards,

James (Jim) Reagan Kelling
