Kelley, son of Peter and Deborah Kelley, was born in the city of New York in 1810, and married in 1832 to Miss CLARISSA A. GODDARD, of Shaftsbury, VT. They settled in Castile, Wyoming Co.,NY, in 1833, where Mr. Kelley was a farmer until 1840. He then moved to Moscow, Livingston Co.,NY, where he spent twenty years in wheat buying. In 1860 he and his wife went to Oakland, CA, hoping the change of climate might improve the health of their only son and child. From 1865 they lived at Rochester, NY, until the fall of 1871. They then returned to Castile, Wyoming Co.,NY, where Mr. Kelley died in the spring of 1876. His widow still lives here. ----------------------------------------- I am not researching this family.
