I was at Dallas Public Library today surfing the Dallas Morning News Archives 1885-1977. I found this article of June 15, 1902, and I hope it helps someone trying to find what happened to an ancestor.
I did not copy it verbatim but did jot down the info contained there:
June 12, 1902 in Marshall, Texas
G W Kelley, a stranger at the Capitol Hotel, destitute and delirious, died from Typhoid Fever at 3:00 am. He was about 50 years of age, 6 foot tall, auburn hair, blue eyes, a beard and about 175 lbs.
