My Great grandfather KALLAM is : James Madison Kallam from Madison,NC which is north of Greensboro,NC. The spelling of the last name seems to vary but this is the chosen one on old documents,etc and there is also a KALLAM GROVE CHURCH which he gave land to build,etc...Therefore, I do not believe this is the same person as the one you are searching for..old documents are located in nearby Wentworth,NC rather than in Madison or Greensboro.I had the name of a young Dr. who was writing a Kallam book several years ago but he had a horrible fire and lost a lot of his outstanding research ;have not located him since.Martha Carter Kirby
