I think my husband is decended through John M. son of Michael Kelchner. I have a John Kelchner in Upper Bern Berks Pa who dies in Dec 1801 and the will is administrated in Jan 1802. It mentions son Henry who I believe to be the youngest child. It also says letter to Margaret Kelchner, he left everything to his wife so I am assuming Margaret to be his wife. It also says that his brother Jacob has agreed to watch over his family. I think this Jacob is the one who marries the Wanner sisters. In St. Michael's Reformed Church in Upper Bern Jacob Kelchner & wife Elizabeth who I believe to be Elizabeth Windbigler, Daniel Kelchner and wife Catharine, who I believe to be nee Clauser, and Heinrich and Suzanne are baptisming their children starting in 1810. One of the sponsers is a Catharine Kelchner. I believe all these children belong to John M and Margaret Kelchner. Have you seen any information on this line?
