In Larry Keith's Book "Keith Keath & Keeth" the following information is found.
George Keith of Maryland (Page 241)
It is believed that this line begins with a George Keith (b. ca 1626) who arrived in America in 1666. He received 50 acres for the service of his wife, Dorothy (who was just released from indenture to Luke Gardiner), and lived in St. Mary's, Calvert and Charles County, MD. In 1721 a George Keith, presumably the one under discussion, gave in deposition that he was then 96 years old. It is purported that he lived to age 111.
George Keith (2nd) was born ca 1667,; married Ann; died 1705, Saint Mary's Co., MD
George Keith (3rd) was born ca 1695; married Elizabeth, probably died after 1762; his land in Charles Co., MD was sold in 1755 by George (either 3rd or 4th) and John Keith. The line proceeds with:
George Keith IV b. ca 1725, Charles Co., MD married 29 March 1752 to Monica, daughter of John Henry and Mary (Gardner)Pigeon; 1776 Census of St. John's and Prince George Parish lists a George KEATH 51, Monica 49, sons aged 10, 12, 6 and 4; daughters aged 17, 15, 12, 9, and 2; died 1806, left a will naming the children.
His son Richard (b. 1756) married 16 February 1784 to Sarah, daughter of Samuel Mason; moved first to Bourbon Co., Ky; moved to Harrison Co., Ky, then about 1828 to Pike Co., MO; died 1836.
Richard (b. 1756) had Samuel Adkins Keith (born 4 January 1786, Montgomery Co., MD) married 1st 21 August 1811 to Isabel, daughter of James and Jane (Buchanan) Parks, Scott Co., KY; married 2nd 6 August 1849, Elizabeth (Buckles) Wilson, a widow, Jennings Co., IN (Some records mention a wife named Rebecca Parish. Samuel Keith was executor in Bourbon Co., KY fro estate of Rebecca's father William Parrish, 1814.); lived in Bourbon Co., KY; later moved to Jennings Co., IN, ca 1815, and after 1856 to Pike Co., MO; died 19 February 1862 [Some say he died at home of his son, Harvey, in IL. However, Harvey had been disinherited by Samuel, and such conclusion is questioned.] Mterial details of this family, also found in a book by Darrell D. Morey, were largely supplied by Naomi Keith Sexton [R32], a long time researcher of the George Keith family of MD.)

Sarah Jane born 22 February 1818 married 1st 1 September 1836 to Benjamin Orin Carpenter, and had George W. born June 1837; married 2nd 19 February 1840 to Daniel R. Lewis and had Elizabeth Ann, Samuel A. born 1841, Harriet Rice born 1845, and John P.; married 3rd James Swincher, Jennings Co., IN.
