i told Larry i'd do a dance of joy if George Fleming Keith turned out to be the father of my Geo. T. Keith -- and so i have! -- but i never expected such a vast treasure trove!
Looks as if i'll have to work to validate the various George Fleming Keith children -- there seems to be some conflicting info -- but with so many references, it's just a case of "where to start", instead of the brick wall i had hit.

Wow! Will and Mattie's sons were terrific great-uncles, but they weren't, perhaps, the greatest "Informants" for the Death Certificates, eh? Son Benjamin "Benny" Keith Gallaspy was the one who thought Mattie's mother was Alice Harmon -- but i agree with your idea that, in thinking back, he remembered Mattie talking about her sister Eliza Alice, and just plucked the wrong name from his memory. Son Theodore "Ted" Young Gallaspy II was the one who signed off on "William 'Will' Easter Gallaspy" -- i'll cut him some slack and hope it was the clerk's error, and that he just didn't notice.
But i'll tell you, Will's own daughter (Nell Alma Gallaspy) thought her dad's middle name was "Easter", so that was a real surprise. Thanks so much for sharing that!

As soon as i said Delia McDaniel to my mom, she said, "oh yes!" but without your suggesting it, it might never have come to mind. And she had no idea of the dates -- many thanks, yet again.
Mom remembers now that Delia's brother was also named Charlie, and that he had the farm that was "next down" from Delia and Charlie Keith's. The family called Delia's brother "Charlie Mac" to distinguish him from Uncle Charlie (Keith).
A little more anecdotal info on Mattie's brother (Charles "Charlie" W. Keith): he drove a black ford pick-up truck with no springs; he had a large (but not huge) herd of cattle on the farm, and he grew the feed for them; he and Delia also had a small orchard, plus the usual veggie crops. Around 1942 (not too long before Charlie Keith died in 1944), they sold the farm and moved to town to retire, but before they sold it, they signed over the rights to look for oil to Exxon. Then they sold the farm to Charlie Birdwell, the county agent; then Exxon came in and found oil, and of course, paid the royalties to Mr. Birdwell.
Rats -- just realized i forgot to ask Mom if the daughter you mentioned for Charlie (Luzelle Keith) was maybe the child she had remembered, and if maybe that was Charlie's daughter by his first wife, (who you found to be Emma).
