John Keith, b. 26 Aug. 1781 in Montgomery Co. VA, m. Mary Gentry, b. ca 1785 in TN.
Looking for descendants of, or reseachers of, John Keith, b. 26 Aug. 1781 in Montgomery Co. VA, m. Mary Gentry, b. ca 1785 in TN. He died in Knox Co. TN 27 Nov. 1861. Mary died after the June 1860 Census in Knox Co. They had ten children: Elmira, Pleasant, Andrew [or Anderson], Anna, Calvin, Evaline, Matilda, John, Mary, and Eliza. [The above names & dates came from the “Keith Book”, page 508, compiled by Larry Keith.]
According to family writings, my 3rd great-grandfather, Rufus S, Keith, and his brothers, Martin H.Keith and Middleton B. Keith were his nephews.
Would like to exchange info about any of them.
