Hi Belinda ... this is John 'Keith' Maestri in California. Here are some details on Cora (White) Wilson and Ray White and their parents, Frank and Lucy (Keith) White.
In the 1860 Census record for the Pike Township in Marion County, Indiana (Indianapolis) we find the family of Silas and Susannah White and their 9 children, including Frank White (age 9, born: Jun 1851 Indiana). Silas White, age 54 tells us, he was born in Kentucky (about 1806) and his wife, Susannah White (age 40) tells us she was born in Pennsylvania about 1820.
In the 1860 Census record for Graves, Kentucky, we find the family of N. (Nathan?) and Ann Keith and their 8 children, including Lucetta Keith, age 1 (born Mar 1859). Nathan, age 39, tells us he was born in North Carolina about 1821 and his wife, Ann age 40, tells us that she was born in Kentucky about 1820.
In the 1900 Census record for Advance Town in the Pike Township in Stoddard County Missouri, we find the family of Lucien and Lucity White and their 5 (of 6) children, including Isaac Monroe White (born: July 1885 Indiana), Cora Alexa White (born: Jan 1888 Missouri), Joseph Milton 'Ray' White (born: Jan 1890 Alexander County, Illinois, died: 16 Jun 1977 Essex, Stoddard, Missouri), Jessie White (born: Oct 1894 Illinois) and Rosey Josophene White (born: Apr 1898 Missouri).
In the 1910 Census record for Richland, Stoddard County Missouri, we find Lucy White, age 53 (widow), her daughter, Rosa J. White (age 11) and her other daughter, Cora A. (White) Wilson and her husband, Carnwell Wilson in the same household. This suggests that Lucy's husband, Frank has passed between 1900 and 1910, likely in Missouri.
In other records, we find Lucy (Keith) White, born: 12 Mar 1859, near Louisville Kentucky and passing in Essex Missouri on 22 Mar 1946. Lucy's father, Nathan tells us in the 1860 census that he was born in North Carolina about 1821. Perhaps some of the Keith descendants from North Carolina can help in this area?
