Hi Larry -

I have a copy of *my* Alexander Keith's RevWar pension file .... some of the information included in the Mead/Seaver data does not fit.

From the file:
Alexander aged 72 in April 1818.
Alexander aged 70 in 1820.
Born in the United States.
Entered service at Winchester, Frederick District, VA.
Served under Capt. Alexander & Col. Spottswood.
Resided in VA until 1793, then to Scott Co., KY.
Certificate of pension was sent to Col. Johnson in Great Crossing, Scott Co., KY.
In 1814, certificate sent to John Porter, Esq. in Paoli, Orange Co., IN.
Moved from Scott Co., KY to Orange Co., IN bef. 1814.
Only family members mentioned are children James, Polly, Nancy and Susannah and wife, Phebe.
Alexander d. 14 May 1828.

1810 U.S. census Scott Co., Kentucky:
Keith, Alexr.
1 Male        45+        bef 1765       Alexander 1750
1 Female 45+        bef 1765       Phebe 1765
1 Female 16-26 1784-1794       ?
1 Female 10-16 1794-1800       Polly 1797
1 Male        0-10        1800-1810       James 1803
1 Female 0-10 1800-1810       Nancy 1801
1 Female 0-10        1800-1810       Susannah 1807
1 Female 0-10        1800-1810 ?

1820 U.S. census Northeast, Orange Co., Indiana:
Keith, Alexander
1 Male        45+        bef 1775       Alexander 1750
1 Female 45+        bef 1775       Phebe 1765
1 Female 26-45 1775-1794       Polly 1797
1 Male        16-26 1794-1804       James 1803
1 Female 16-26 1794-1804       Nancy 1801
1 Female 10-16 1804-1810       Susannah 1807

I cannot find Phebe, Polly or Nancy in 1830. James is married and residing in Orange Co., IN. Susannah has married Irvin/Erwin Sutherland - eventually moved to Polk Co., Missouri.

As you can see, this Alexander does not fit the overall profile of the Mead/Seaver Alexander.
