Jeffrey,

Price, Vincent, Smith, and a John KEITH were reported, by Seaver, as being brothers. Sarah, presumed to be a sister, was not mentioned in his book. Some researchers have claimed that the trunk ancestor of all the lines involved was a Price KEITH (b. 1753). Because the claim of common parentage has long existed, the five "siblings" are reported together, in this text, with the caution that researchers of these families have yet to prove or disprove a parent, or a sibling relationship, for Price, Vincent, Smith and John KEITH.

Vincent KEITH (b. ca 1763) m. 1st ca 1790 to Beulah, daughter of Josiah WHITE (she d. in 1812, Fauquier Co., VA) m. 2nd to Hannah (b. 9 Apr 1780), daughter of James and Christian (Gore) CARRUTHERS; was “bound out” 7 May 1773, at age 10, to Isabella JUMP; removed 1815 to Ohio; d. 24 Apr 1844, Carroll Co., OH, age 81; his will (dated 1831; probated 1844). Vincent bought land in Loudoun Co., VA, 1795, from Elizabeth REED; moved to Columbiana Co., OH, and bought land from Price KEITH on 27 Dec 1814.

Vincent had 7 children, 5th being:
Josiah KEITH (b. 4 Nov 1803, Loudoun Co., VA) m. 1st. to Elizabeth WILSON, m. 2nd 29 Aug 1868 to Mrs. Rebecca (Gibson) HOLDERMAN; d. 30 Jan 1872, Columbiana Co. OH.[there is in records in Wayne Co., KY a Josiah KEITH m. 29 Nov 1849 to Elizabeth WILSON; and a Josiah KEITH m. 12 Aug 1858 to Parmelia CLARK]. Josiah's 8th and last child was the Emily you have mentioned.
