I've sent this to you in email, but for everyone else....This is the text of the obit from the Easton Sentinel, Monday, January 11, 1892......
Reuben Keiper was found dead in bed at his home, corner of Seventh and Ferry streets between 7 and 8 o'clock this morning. Deceased had been sick with grip and asthma since Wednesday last.His illness was not thought to be of so serious a character. He had been dead but a a short time before his demise was discovered, it is thought. Deceased was a native of Northampton county, was a son of the late Adam Keiper, and was in the 73d year of his age. He was wedded to Miss Susan Kreidler, who died 28 years ago.Deceased is survived by six children - Richard Keiper and Miss Ida Keiper, of Easton; Mrs. Edward King, Mrs. George Hartzell, Mrs. Nicholas Lingerman and Adam Keiper, of South Easton - by four brothers - George E. Keiper, of Easton, Adam Keiper, of Shamokin, Amandus Keiper, of Bethlehem, and Jesse Keiper, of Allentown - and by two sisters - Mrs. Elizabeth Disney, of Bethlehem Ownship, and Mrs. Maria Young, of Catasauqua.
