Thank you all so much for posting the spelling of Keicher!!!!!!! I have recently come to the conclusion that I'm a Keicher!! It is several generations back, but blood is blood. My ancestor, Elizabeth Keicher, married Barnabas Gable in Greene County, TN, in 1795. Every transcription of her name says either Cohen or Cocher, but in the will of William Myer (probably her grandfather) she is listed as Elizabeth Gable, daughter of Magdalene Keicher. Do you know who the man Magdalene was married to was? If anyone can help, please let me know! Thanks!
