Keichers from Germany

Genforum has finally accepted the spelling of KEICHER. Many of us Kiker and Kyker families descend from George Adam Keicher b.1754 and Conrad Keicher b. c.1750 whose father immigrated to PA c.1750 from Germany. This is not to take away from our posting to the KIKER Site but to generate interest from all KEICHER Families that have immigrated to America over the years. Perhaps we can work together to tie our families together. I descend from Conrad Keicher b.c.1750 and that is as far as we have been able to trace this line. George and Conrad's father may have been Christian Keicher. We do not have a firm ship record for him but George A. was born in Bucks Co., PA and Conrad probably in Germany.

There are some early records here and there in PA and OH and other places of the Keicher spelling and it would be nice if there might be some descendants of them that can post to this forum. Christian took his family on to Rowan Co., NC around 1770 (no record to date). So much for my mess of words, I look forward to reading a lot of postings!!
