Following is what I believe is a connnection to Christian Kehr.

My grandmother Anna Landis is the daughter of Granville Landis 1861-1932, and MARY MAGDALENA KEHR 1859-1948. Both buried in Wakarusa, Elkhart Co. IN.

Mary Magdalena's parents were HENRY M. KEHR 1831-1897, who married Elizabeth O. Leatherman 1831-1923, both buried at the mennonite yellow creek cemetery, Southwest, Elkhart Co. IN. Their children were Margaret, Martin, John, Franklin, and Laura.

Also in yellow creek is a CHRISTIAN M. KEHR 1826/7-1908. He married Susanna Hendricks. He might be a brother to Henry Kehr, as is URIAS KEHR 1843-1898, and SAMUEL KEHR 1825-1908, both buried at yellow creek cemetery.

HENRY KEHR'S parents were SAMUEL KEHR 1787-1880, b. York Co., PA, married Apr. 1825 in PA to Magdalena Miller 1808-1897 and moved to Medina Co.OH where he was known as a mennonite farmer. Magdalena is buried at yellow creek cemetery, IN; Samuel buried ?

It is my understanding that Samuel is connected to your CHRISTIAN KEHR family in YORK, PA. or to a Johannes Kehr in the same family?

Is there a connection here?
