I am both looking for information and sharing some. I am descended from Hannah Kehl who was born in Franklin Co. Pennsylvania to George Kehl (b. 1792, near Stouchsburg, Berks Co, Pennsylvania, d. Abt. 1863 Green Twp, Franklin Co, Pennsylvania) son of John George Kehl (b. 1760 Berks Co, Pennsylvania, d. 1845 Green Twp, Franklin Co, Pennsylvania). My information on her being George Kehl's daughter comes from the famous Weiser Families In America, book by Frederick S. Weiser. However, this book does not give her birth date. My family records give her birth date as 1819, which matches a daughter listed in the book named Amalia. I believe that they are the same person, but I do not have proof.
Does anyone know where the information in the Weiser Families In America book comes from? Are there birth records for Green Township, Franklin Co. PA?
