I've recently read the military files for my gg grandfather, Peter Keevil and it gave his place of birth as the Parish of Beckington, Co. Somerset, England. He enlisted in the 56 Regiment of Foot in 1828 when he was 18 years old, so that would mean a birthdate around 1810, as I had already assumed. Have you ever found the brother connection between Peter and William..? Did you ever email me those pictures you mentioned last October..? If so, I've never received them.
