Looking for anyone having information on the Keever family in Philadelphia in the mid 1800's. I have an ancestor, George Keever b. abt 1808 in Dauphin County, PA. George becomes visible in the 1839 Phiuladelphia City Directory in 1839 as a "Hatter". George married Margaret Loyle, and had children Sarah J (b 1837), George W (b 1841), John L (b 1846), Emma L (b. 1849), david F (b 1851) and Albanus (b 1853). George Keever died 3/21/1861 and is buried at Barren Hill Cemetery in Lafayette Hill, PA.
