I am working on the line of Dr. Robert Keeton who was in Perry County from 1826 until his death in 1850.His residence was at Keeton Springs where there is a Keeton Store and a Keeton Springs Methodist Church today.I grew up near there on a farm that was part of the original land owned by Dr. Robert Keeton.I would say that he was probably related to your Wayne County Keetons due to the closeness of Wayne County and Perry County. There was a Lucinda Keeton in Wayne County, and I think he was an executor of her estate or guardian or one or her children.he also owned land in neighboring Hardin County.
Dr. Robert Keeton's father was William Keeton.
