It is interesting that you state with a referenced quote that George Kase/Kaese/Keesee was the progenitor of the American Keesee family from Virginia.
Two separate sources by other authors (1) William Carlos Kozee and (2) Dr. Vincent A. Keesee, dispute this name. They believe the progenitor is Jacques LeCaze, a Frenchman who arrived with a group of Huguenots aboard the ship "Nassau" on 5 March 1701 at the York River, Virginia.
