Angela,

Hilliard and John are the only children listed on the 1900 census with their Grandfather, James Cunningham.

Will married Etta White in 1892 in TX. They had four boys, Hubert Houston, Homer Clifford Keenum, and 2 who lived only a few years.

I loved your stories. Thanks.

The story is told here that Will went out into the field one day(in Calhoun Co., AL) and never returned. They always say that he went to Texas. I don't believe that he went to Oklahoma. I'm not sure how Julia and the boys got to OK. My ggrandfather (his brother) went to Texas with his nephews to help them find their father - as told by my father. They eventually found him. My father doesn't remember those "nephews" names.

Will's mother remarried and moved to TX by 1900. After her second husband died, she returned to AL but went back to TX after 1920. She died there and is buried in Ellis Co., TX.

It is great to meet more family members. Keep in touch.
Nancy
