Keenor family in U.K.
The Keenor family in the U.K. mostly seem to have lived in Devon in the Winkleigh area. Far back as the 1760's Gyles Keynor lived in Winkleigh. The spelling changed with the change of parson recording B,M & D's. There are Plymouth Keenors but I have not yet found the connection to Winkleigh. The family branched out to Wales (Fred, captain of Cardiff City when they won the F.A. Cup in 1927) To London, Torquay and northen England. In the main they were stone mason's and brewer's. Anyone with information please contact me. All Keenor history eagerly awaited.
