I too believe this Mary is not Richard's. Richard's will, dated 1809, proved 1813, lists wife Chloe, sons Stephen and Russell, and daughter Huldah. We know from land records that there was also a Richard Jr., but have seen no reference to a "Mary." I have laid out some of the confusion with the Manchester Keeneys at the following link:
