Batavia (Illinois) Herald, Feb. 6, 1908
Michael Keenan, a farmer living near Bald Mound, died Monday morning, Feb. 3d, 1908, after a two week's illness of grip. The deceased was fifty-five years of age and leaves a wife and four children. Funeral Wednesday from the home. Rev. James O'Shea of Holy Cross church officiating. Interment at Elburn cemetery.
