What KEEN/KEENE was the huband of Alsey b ca.1768? Alsey KEEN was a nighbor of James & Edith RENFROW in Cumberland CO., NC. 1800-1830. She may have had as daughters 1.Clary, who may have been the 2nd wife of Minton JONES and 2. Mary Temperance who married William MEGGS. Alsey ended up living with her daughter Mary in Anson CO., NC. She must have died there after the census of 1850. There is some relationship between James or his wife Edith____GILBERT, RENFROW. Could Alsey and Edith have been sisters? Do not know the maiden name of Edith or Alsey.
