Hi Jeanne,

Skippack is in Montgomery County, PA. You may already know this, but Colebrookedale is in Berks County, PA, near where Berks borders Montgomery.

Here's what I pieced together, but first a caveat. My Keely branch is the one in Chester County, PA, so I really haven't checked into the Berks County Keelys in much detail. Please keep this in mind and verify the information.

Valentine1 is the immigrant who settled in Skippack area. His son is Vallentine2 (1716-1784), who moved to Berks County. (Will abstract for Vallentine1 can be viewed at http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/pa/pafiles.htm - go to philadelphia couty then will abstracts)

John (1742-1822) is the son of Valentine2. Henry is a son of John. I have no dates on Henry, but he had a brother born in 1771 and another brother born in 1776. Wills for Valentine2 and John are in the berks county will abstracts. (see address above, but go to Berks County) Also, check out the cemetery listings in Berks county. Keelys are buried at the Fritz and Union, which is where some of these dates came from.

Hope this helps.

Janis
