Just read your old request for info on the parents of John Keele, (born 8-06-1818). I suspect that you have long since come up with the info you were looking for, but in the event you have not, here's what I know: John's father was Samuel Bayliss Keele, Sr. (born 12-05-1794 and died 06-02-1862 in McDonald County, Missouri I believe). I have info that Samuel was married twice, the first being to Sarah Victoria (maiden name, date of birth, etc., not known); the second wife was Mary Ann (maiden name, date of birth, etc., not known). John was married 06-10-1841 to a Clersy (also have her as Clarissa) Matilda Hamby. This information comes from a small handwritten book kept by old Samuel Bayliss Keele, Sr. himself. He was my gg-grandfather. Let me know if this helps. And, if you have by now discovered anything about the wives of Samuel and the parents of Samuel, please share it with me. Thanks and good luck.
