Would you please look in your book "Descendants of Samuel Keel"? I am trying to discover who my great great grandfather was. I ran across a census in Hill County, TX listing a Jerirah Keel b. 1845 in KY. Looking on the internet I have found that he is the son of Samuel Keel. My great great grandmother , Mary Elenor J. Horne b. 1846 and died between 1871 and 1876, married a Mr. Keel in Hill County or Austin, TX. She had two children Mary or Molly b. 1869 and Robert b. 1871. The children went to live with their grandfather William T. Horne in Austin, TX. Robert, my great grandfather, was later adopted by his aunt's (Sarah Brooks) husband Angus McLaurin after William Horne died in 1876. Jerirah Keel had a child born in 1872 so he could have re-married or Mary Elenor may have been married to a relative of his. Other family researchers have assumed that Mr. Keel died at the same time as Mary Elenor. There does not appear to be any trace of either of them. All I have is the name Keel. I do hope there is a connection.

Thank you.
