Thanks for the information!
I am "connecting dots" in the Pamplico area of SC, in Marion County.
Can you tell me how the following KEEFE families relate to one another?
On the 1840 census for Marion County, SC:
1...DANIEL J. KEEFE...HEAD OF HOME age 20 to 30 yrs old
others in this household were: 1 female under 5 yrs and 2 females 20 to 30 yrs old
2...LEWIS KEEFE....HEAD OF HOME age 30 to 40 yrs old
others in this household were: 1 male under 5, 2 males 10-15 yrs,1 female under 5, 1 female 5 to 10, and 1 female 30 to 40 yrs old.
3...WILLIAM KEEFE JR....HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD age 30 to 40
others in the home were: 3 males 5 to 10 yrs, 2 females 5 to 10 yrs, and 1 female 20 to 30 yrs.
4...WILLIAM KEEFE SR....HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD age 60 to 70
others in this home were: 1 male 15 to 20..a son or grandson???
Was this William Keefe Sr. the father of the other Keefe males mentioned above?
In your KEEFE notes you have that William Keefe married an Elizabeth Foxworth c1828, and had a son named John W. Keefe.
Which William Keefe were you referring to?
Hope I am not asking too much, but if I can connect some of these Keefes it will help me with others related to them.
Thanks,
Susan Gibbs Martin
