March 18, 1889: Miss Mary Muicahy, of North Main street, and Mr. Thomas O’Keefe, left for Cleveland this morning, to viist Miss Maggie O’Keefe, formerly of this city.
Aug 1, 1889: Mr. Dennis McGrath and son, Willie, Mrs. Pat Keefe, of Jackson str., and Mrs. P. H. Lawlor, of West street, will go on the excursion this evening to Niagara Falls.
Oct 2, 1889: “Police Court” The Mayor this morning had two cases of inebriety before him. Dan O’Keefe, arrested by officers Comer and Corcoran while on a toot on the South Side, was fined $7.60, and not having the rocks, was sent to crack rocks.
Oct 10, 1889 “County Offices” Real Estate Transfers….John Sullivan to Patrick KEEFE, two acres of land near Robb’s addition, $325.

Jan 4, 1890: “Funeral of George Korns” …The pall bearers were all employes of the D. & m road: Dan Casey, Thomas KEEFE, John Sullivan…
April 14, 1890: …Daniel Maloue and Thomas KEEFE, workmen at Crump’s foundry, in Chicago, received two shots from a revolver which were said to have been intended for another man.
April 23, 1890: Lawrence Calfred, of Sidney, was the guest of Mr. P. KEEFE and family, yesterday.
May 17, 1890: Miss Han. Murphy has resigned her position at Patrick KEEFE’s, on North Jackson street.
**** Eddie KEEFE, of Cincinnati, is visiting his grand parents Mr. and Mrs. P. KEEFE, of 309 North Jackson street.
August 27, 1890 An Early Morning Marriage: …in St. Rosa’s church…. Mr. James KEEFE served as best man, and Miss Quinlin attended the bride.
Sept 25, 1890: “A D. & M. Switchman Caught Between Two Moving Crs and a Mad Race Follows”…Pony Conductor Tom KEEFE had a narrow escape from being ground to pieces beneath the wheels of some freight cars in the north end of the D&M years about 3 o’clock this morning….KEEFE lives at 506 North main street.
Jan 21, 1891 : Deed for Record: Daniel and Thomas O’KEEFE to Mary Riordan, inlot 985, $1,400.
Dec 16, 1891: Mrs. Patrick KEEF, of 940 West North street, who had suffered severly from nervous spasms, often requiring the aid of several persons to restrain her in her involuntary acts, has returned from a trip to Pittsburg, where she went to Father Mollinger, the great faith-cure priest. In five days she returned completely cured.
Feb 9 1892: “ ‘Get Ready’ were the Words of Judge Lindemann This Morning” There was an unusually busy and sad scene in Judge Lindemann’s court this morning. The cause of the excitement was the presence of two unfortunates whose reasons had gone under a cloud. They were Mrs. KEEFE, of West North Street, and Bertie JACOBS of Auglaize township. For both papaers in commitment had to be drawn. While this was being done the Jacobs girs, semmingly anzious to get started, hung over the Judge’s desk, in spite of frequent orders that she sit down. Mrs. KEEFE, seeming to care naught for her surrounding, was accompanied by her husband, and brother, Patrick Horrigan,. …A wait had to then be made until 1:35 this afternoon. Mrs. KEEFE was taken home, and the Jacob’s girl to Mrs. Wiley’s on south Tanner street. ….
