I haven't checked this forum for quite a while, so I just saw your post. I have never seen any Clarissa's in my family tree, so this doesn't ring a bell for me. But I have noticed something in the old handwritten records, and even from my own handwriting when I went by my maiden name: When the 2 E's in Keech are written small and close together, they appear to be a U rather than 2 E's. In school, my teachers sometimes mistook my last name for Kuch for that very reason, so it is completely possible that a Kuch could actually be a Keech.
