Martin Key/Martin Kee BIG MIXUP
Posted by: Jewell Kee (ID *****9438) Date: October 13, 2006 at 13:29:11

I have been laboring under the impression that Martin Kee, married to Sarah Binney Logan, and Martin Key, married to Malvina (surname unknown) were one and the same. From family records we know that Martin Kee, married to Sarah Binney Logan DIED about 1849 in Jasper County, Missouri. (Hanged in his own barn.)
However, Martin Key, married to Malvina, is listed in the 1850, 1860 and 1870 Census in Calloway County, Missouri with Malvina and a number of children.
Can anyone tell me more about the Martin Kee, married to Sarah Binney Logan? We know that marriage is sure because the Binney Family Bible listed them, along with some of their children. They are also mentioned in The Binney Book, a record of the genealogy of the Binney family.
Any help appreciated. You may email me directly at jewellkee@sbcglobal.net or respond to this post.
