Martyn, Thanks for sending the data. There are 6 parts and it appears that I rec'd all the pages. The info opens in Word just fine. You asked about my relationship, that's what I'm wondering also. From what I've read in the first section of the work, the data resembles the theories that are passed around by McKee researchers that I've read on the message boards so far and, in particular, data posted on Kevin McKee's site. This being the origin of the McKee family in Ireland and Scotland and the early Clan MacKay connection. I haven't seen a link with my Mecklenburg Co NC>Rutherford Co TN>Franklin Co AL>Hardeman Co TN McKee family. Some time ago I posted a will of a James McKee who was a Revolutionary War veteran and died in Fayette Co TN ca 1846 and one of the people who replied indicated the he might have been of the Kee family in Fayette Co TN. I never found any evidence of that one way or the other. The data you've sent is very interesting reading and would be of interest to anyone looking at the origin of Kee/McKee. Will email you as I read further into the data. Thanks again. Linda McKee
