My grandfather was John Keay, he was how ever born Jonh Haycock. Haycock was he mothers married name, but Haycock was not Johns father. John grandparents decided to bring John up after his mother decided the best way do deal with the 'problem' was to place him on the railway line. John did not find any of this out untill somtime after. His mothers name was Susanna. The only other thing that i know is John was born in Bilston, and grew up in Stonnall. Can any out there help.
