Thanks for replying. I was afraid this family had been abandoned!
After my post, I found a message at boards.ancestry.com by Connelly VanValkenburgh, dated 1 Jul 2001, in the Hammond board, that had Mary Ann Hammond married to Daniel Keator.
I have Ruth Keator as the wife of Eli Robinson and parents of Hannah Robinson who married James Hammond (b. 1822).
Is another James Hammond married to a Keator?
I do have a question concerning Ruth Keator's birthdate: I've found the date as 2 Nov 1790 in various places, but the Vega Cemetery listing at the Delaware County, NY genealogy website has: died 11 Mar 1876 age 81y 5m 21d. This calculates to 1 Jun 1795 (or close to it). Has the 1790 date been verified?
Is all this Keator genealogy online somewhere?
Thank you for your help. I've just recently found the "missing link" with the Hammond line so these are new surnames for me.
