I am working on the following children and I think they are the children of Isham Keaton. They are James W., M. J. "Mollie", and Belle Keaton-Keanten.
1860 census, Wood Co., TX
I. W. Katen.......28....GA
Lucy A. D. Katen..22....MS
James M. Katen..4/12....TX..(should be W.)
On Belle Keaton Taylor death cert. it shows that her father was unknown Keaton and mother was Lucie Turner. Belle Keaton married Larkin M. Taylor about 1884-1885. They are living in Comanche Co., TX 1900. also living with them is Cammie Taylor from her death cert. shows she is the daughter of Mollie Keaton and Hicks Taylor. Cammie Ardonia Taylor Kirkpatrick died May 26, 1973 in Uvalde Co., TX.
M. J. Keaton married 14 April 1881 in Comanche Co., TX to D. H. Taylor (this is Daniel Hicks Taylor)
In the Rock Bluff Baptist Church Minutes, Comanche Co., TX I have the following, #17, 1881, M. J. Taylor, #19, 1881, Belle Keeton, 1881, J. Keeton.
In the 1920 Census for Kimble Co., TX the following census
