To find any living relatives of the Keating family that lived in Heckscherville, Schuylkill County - Pennsylvania in the 1860's and subsequently moved to Shamokin, Northumberland County Pennsylvania shortly thereafter (around 1900). My father's family line then moved to Philadelphia, PA - his grandparents and father are buried in St. Edwards cemetary in Shamokin. My father's birth father's name was Myles Keating (died in WWII - body moved from the Pacific Theatre to Shamokin), grandfather's name Michael Keating(wife named Mary or possibly Anne). Myles Keating briefly lived near Lebanon, PA. One of Myles Keating's sisters (Mae or Anna Mae) married into a family named Copp in Philadelphia. Myles Keating had a brother named Thomas or Joseph. Michael Keating had a brother named John. Greatgrandfather named Michael Keating - was born in Ireland (buried in St. Edwards in Shamokin). My father was adopted and his last name is currently Michael. This family link verified 2 years ago.
