Thank you for responding to my message. You and I may have family member's in common. My father's name was James Kearse. His family I am told came from South Carolina. I am told that his father's name was Mazo Kearse and his mother's name was either Edna Mae or Lula Mae. I know that he had four brother's and one sister. They are all deceased. Their name's were Claude, Henry, Jesse and I never knew my other uncle because he was never talked about. My mother told me about him. His sister's name was Roberta. My father died when I was fourteen year's old. I was never really close to his family member's except for his neice Edna Mae Kearse. I would visit her house often and got really close to her children,Tony, Ricky,Donnell, Talisa and Vicky. By the way her son Tony is the father of "Big Boi" of the rap group "Outcast".Tony passed away in 2003. Big Boi came to his funeral in Savannah, Georgia.
It is public knowledge, You can look up Big Boi's history and you will find that his father's name is Tony Andre' Kearse, and his grandmother's name is Edna Mae Kearse. So if you are related to me, then you have a famouse rapper in your family. I'm just giving you this information in case you are related and didn't know. Either way would you please respond to my message and let me know if you recognize any names or info that I am sharing with you. I'm hoping that there is some positive news and I can find some of my father's relatives and get to know them and find out some information about his childhood. Oh, by the way I also heard that my grandparents were full blooded Indians. You would believe it if you had seen my father and his brothers. They had the most beautiful hair and skin and the cheekbones. Which are the traits of most of the Kearse's in the family from Savannah.
