Patricia, feel free to email me directly at [email protected].
I do have a subscription to Ancestry, the regular collection and census collection.[NOne of the the immigration or foreign genealogy stuff.]I can look up the kids [as adults] in the federal censuses if you like.
Cambria Co., PA also has several cemeteries online.I was doing the research of this family and others [Comey, O'Rourke, McGough, etc.] for a friend, and found a lot of info online.I can pass those websites on to you if you haven't already come across them.
I am surprised that the father, John Kearns, lived to 1864.I wonder why all his kids either moved out on their own, or he left the home, by the 1850 census.I will have to check the 1850 and 1860 censuses again for the father.I assume he died [or at least his Will was probated] in Cambria Co.?
And his 2nd wife died young too...as I said in my prior email, it appears his 1st wife [approx 15-20 yrs older than the wife enumerated at 1830 census] died between 1820-1830, and he remarried before the 1830 census.Looking at the dates of birth of all the kids, it may give us a better idea of when the wife died, assuming there is a larger age gap than usual between 2 of the kids.
I notice you didn't put a date of birth for sons Isaac and Abraham---at the 1850 census they were both listed as being 10 yrs old, thus twins and the youngest of the children.
