I'd be happy to share the census info I have if you like---it's only from 1850 that the entire family is named, but I do have extracts of the 1830-1840 censuses as well. It does appear that betwn. the 1820 and 1830 censuses, his first wife died and he remarried to a younger woman. If you have access to death and/or marriage records for that time, you might find the names of the wives within that time frame.

Did John Kearns die betwn. 1840-1850? Did you say you had a copy of his Will---if so, could you post an extract? And/or any info you do have verified for him. I could also give you the info on dau. Catherine who married Patrick Comey, if you like.
