Patricia, I have been looking at the censuses for Kearns families in Cambria Co., trying to determine the parents of the Catherine Kearns [b. 1824] who married Patrick Comey. One possibility for her father is John Kearns, who appears with a bunch of children early on in Cambria. At the 1850 federal census, there are about 10 siblings living w/ older, married brother Phillip Kearns, I thought perhaps these could be children of John, by then deceased.

Does any of this coincide with your family?
