Looking for information of Kerney/Kearney/Cearneys of Sullivan County, TN. Specifically, Levi M. Kerney born ca 1856 whose mother was Malinda (Matilda?)born ca 1810 VA. Levi, in 1930, is living with his son Robert. The earlist Kerney, etc are William and George in 1840 Sullivan County, TN. Robert married (I think second) Nannie Elizabeth Hicks, daughter of Will and Telitha Parker Hicks. Robert and Nannie's child Verlin K. born ca 1905 is my husband's biological father. Robert and Nannie's other children in 1930 were Cozetta C., and George J. Any information is greatly appreciated. gladysowens@hotmail.com
