My grandparents may have been one of the Kearleys from South Alabama that you heard about in 1951. My grandfather was a veterinarian in Andalusia, Alabama. He helped eliminate "Bang's Disease" in south Alabama by 1928. He had either eight or nine brothers and sisters. He was third oldest. They grew up on a farm in far south Alabama.

We have cousins throughout the South. I am in Dallas, Texas. When I was vistiting London, England, about ten years ago, I noticed about seven or eight Kearley's in the local phone book.
